The Farm Museum

Writing in Wonderful West Virginia, Jonathan McCallister notes, "If you talk very long with Mike Perry, you quickly realize he has a passion for West Virginia and its unique culture and history. Perry and his wife, Henriella, own the Heritage Farm Museum, located up a sleepy little valley, on a narrow winding lane just outside of Huntington." Click for detail.
History on Display. Walt Williams of the State Journal interviews Mike Perry about the farm and museum on its 30th anniversary, noting Mike's "fondness for collecting anything of historical value." Williams adds, "One thing that fascinates him is the resourcefulness of the first settlers of the area, people who were cut off from the larger metropolitan areas on the East Coast. singer films part of TV show at Heritage Farm. Carroll
Roberson and his wife Donna Roberson were filmed by Daniel Zapata
of Sonlight Studios at Heritage Farm Museum and Village in Huntington.
Roberson, the Ripley, Miss.-based preacher and Christian singer
who is seen around the world on such TV networks as The Church Channel,
Sky Angel Satellite, TCT Network, Daystar, was here for days with
a crew filming one of his TV shows. Click

Caboose
heads to Heritage museum.
A 1947 Norfolk Western caboose rolled
through the streets of Huntington midday Wednesday, making its way
to Heritage Farm Museum and Village. Click

Adds Biplane to Museum.
The Herald-Dispatch reports it's now planes,
trains and automobiles out at Heritage Farm Museum and Village after
the living history museum added its latest acquisition to the collection.
A 1920s-style biplane has been added to the inside of the Transportation
Museum at Heritage Farm. Click
